ABOUT
b.Darwin, Australia. Lives in Perth.
Pamela Tang’s work reflects a dialogue between art, craft and design. After a career in interior design, she returned to painting, where the interplay of technique and form continues to shape her abstract and still life pieces.
Guided by quiet contemplation, Pamela approaches her work with calm reflection, finding resonance in the subtle beauty of rural landscapes and worn objects that surround her.
Pamela’s art is a thoughtful exploration of texture, composition, and colour, often expressed through a restrained colour palette. Working primarily with acrylics and tissue paper on canvas, she creates intricate textures that transform the surrounding space into a meditative environment. The raw imperfections in the details of her art invite viewers to engage with its layered elements, reflecting the harmony and stillness found in nature.
Pamela’s work embodies the understanding that true expression is quiet and does not seek to convince but instead speaks softly through its presence.
